Thonglor’s wildly creative cocktail spot Wasteland is back at Sukhumvit 71
Taking the sustainability gimmick and turning it up to 11.
France's answer to Elvis has gone from 60s sex symbol to beloved national icon (he's now 70). Originally charted to play Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Hong Kong only, "Johnny," as the French call him, was begged by Bangkok's Union des Francais a l'Etranger to squeeze in a stopover in our fair city. His music's appeal never really spread beyond his own frontiers, but Hallyday does have 181 tours under his belt, meaning he knows a thing or two about stagemanship. Tickets available at Alliance Française (179 Withayu Rd., 02 670 4201) or Pullman Hotel Bangkok G (Silom Rd., 02 238 1991).
