Kusu Island

Island of holy sites

The Island is famous for its turtle sanctuary and temples. Meaning “Turtle Island” in Mandarin, the name is derived from a legend of a turtle that saved two shipwrecked fishermen. Ferries leave for Kusu from Marina South Pier. The last ferry leaves Kusu Mon‑Fri 4pm, Sat 4:30pm and Sun and public holidays 6:15pm. Admission: $15 (adult), $12 (child).
