Despite being home to Swensen's, Sportsworld, KFC and many more soulless chains, Terminal 21 (corner of Sukhumvit and Asoke, BTS Asok, MRT Sukhumvit) is not just another mall. First of all, the themes are quite fun: an aiport terminal and global destinations like Rome, Tokyo and San Francisco. They even had pretties dressed as air hostesses on the opening day (Oct 11). More importantly, most of the boring chain stores are actually on the lower floors while the upper floors are home to scores of small shops run by local fashion designers, some which are exclusive to Terminal 21. Of course, there's also a food court and a movie theater at the top.
