Opened in May 2011, this out-of-town museum is well worth the trek. Replete with glass artworks, educational displays and interactive workshops, it's worth spending a whole morning or afternoon there to make the most of its facilities.

The museum is slightly tricky to get to. It's on Metro Line 1 and Line 3, and bus routes 849, 159, 95, 726, 728 and 552. Either take Metro Line 1 to Tonghe Xincun Station and transfer to bus 728, 849 or 95 and get off Sanzhuanlu Station. You can also take Metro Line 3 to South Changjiang Road, transfer to bus 552 and get off at Sanzhuanlu Station. Bus lines 232, 726 and 159 also stop at Sanzhuanlu Station.

Museum entry: 20 RMB adults, 10 RMB students.
