SINGAPORE RESTAURANT

My Little Spanish Place

Chefs Maria Sevillano and Edward Esmero put out an impressive range of tapas (think garlic mushrooms and grilled asparagus) and paella at this Bukit Timah gem, which even has a dedicated jamon bar. They also do a great brunch menu including some tasty churros and refreshing cava mimosas.

This Bukit Timah gem offers a range of tapas and has a dedicated jamon bar with specimens like Joselito ($25/25g), which is aged for four years, and Fermin ($7/25g), just 18-20 months old. They also have a comforting brunch menu including some stellar churros ($12) as well as savories like huevos al horno ($18), baked eggs with tomato and chorizo. The really hungry can order up chuletillas y huevos ($28), pan-fried baby lamb cutlets with two eggs and salad. Wash it down with their cava mimosas ($12/glass, $42/jug) and creamy cafe con leche ($5).

Eat this at My Little Spanish Place: Tomato chorizo salad. It's one of I-S Magazine's 50 things to eat before you die (2013).
