Southeast Asia’s first Marvel Entertainment theme park has arrived in Bangkok, taking over a 20,000-sq-meter space behind Mega Bangna Ikea. 

With entry priced at B1,500 (or B1,350 for kids under 120cm), The Marvel Experience allows fans to live out their superhero fantasies through a series of interactive attractions and afterwards shop for merch. 

The premise: With Bangkok under threat of dastardly villains like Red Skull and Madame Hydra, you'll have to team up with some of Marvel's finest to prevent all chaos breaking loose. 

Fire away at a large double-sided screen in the Holoblaster Shooting Gallery, practice your punching and jumping skills like Black Widow and Black Panther in the motion-detection training center, and catch Iron Man in all his glory in the 4D cinema. 

Throughout you'll find plenty of photo opps with life-size figurines like the Hulk and Spiderman, while pricier thrills can be found in the form of mugs, T-shirts and plush toys at the gift shop, 

After a job well done, reward yourself with a hot dog and fries at Avenger Cafe.
