Ari’s new cozy nook of an izakaya, Sasori, comes from the same Japanese grill experts behind the neighborhood’s Sousaku and Nabe Nabe.

 

Head here for meaty specialties like chicken thigh with a hit of yuzu kosho (B45), pork belly with enoki (B39) and Australian beef with leek (B55) in a wood-heavy setting made for a few too many draft Sapporo beers (B160) or wild berry highballs (B190).

 

Grill-it-yourself options include the oozing, grilled cheese nori (B260) or you can relinquish all responsibilities with the chef’s sashimi catch of the day (B399/3 pieces).
