Bar Storia del Caffe (Phloen Chit)
Bar Storia del Caffe's fourth branch oozes tastefully restrained Italian diner vibes.
Hot on the heels of Boyy and Son Cafe comes another mid-century interior masterpiece in Phloen Chit.
The fourth, and so far largest, branch of Bar Storia del Caffe leaves the original's neo-Victorian leanings in the past in favor of tastefully restrained Italian diner vibes.
It takes over a lofty two-story block of Phloen Chit's Mahatun Plaza with mint green and pastel pink walls, leather banquettes and plenty of faux-greenery.
As per usual, expect a menu of all-day cafe favorites like the yummy pancake with caramelized banana (B190) and cheese and bell pepper omelet with Cumberland sausage, back bacon, mushrooms, potatoes and tomatoes (B250).
Iced coffee starts from B100 and wine from B1,800/bottle and B160/glass—enjoy it with an antipasti platter is B490. The golden taps will pour a selection of beers soon, too.
