Godiva
Belgium’s 90-year-old luxury chocolate brand arrives in Bangkok.
Belgium’s 90-year-old luxury chocolate brand Godiva finally brings its trademark truffles, biscuits and chocolate drinks to Bangkok with a branch at CentralWorld.
But while a quick glance at Instagram will tell you the rest of the world is currently enjoying the brand’s silky smooth soft-serve ice cream and chocolate-coated strawberries, we’ll have to wait just a little longer for such treats, which are expected to arrive by the end of the year.
The current star of the menu is the so-called “Chocolixir” (B230), a small range of dense chocolate milkshakes that come topped with whipped cream and yet more chocolate.
With much of the store dedicated to showing off products, the place has a definite grab-and-go vibe with only a handful of round-top tables tucked at the back where you can enjoy Ronnefeldt tea (B245) and coffee (from B120 for an espresso).
The prices of truffles vary, but to taste the current seasonal ones you can expect to shell out B970 for 100g.
