Here comes another hip spot on Charoenkrung. At The Baxter Brenton, the owner takes over a crumbling shop-house and decks it out with a contemporary Chinese look.

The menu lists comforting Thai dishes, from breakfast staples like khao tom (rice soup, B60) made with brown rice to pad krapao (B60) and fried rice with chili paste (B80). 

With a range of health snacks and drinks on offer, it’s also a haven for the health conscious. Upstairs is open as a co-working space (B200/day) while there are also al fresco tables to chill on the rooftop.
