After the closure of its original branch on Sukhumvit Soi 49, Teien has made a comeback at On Nut’s Habito Mall in a more mature fashion.

Draped in greenery, this garden-themed venue doesn't feature the oversized sushi platters and flashy cut-price deals of old, but rather puts the focus on more carefully curated items at reasonable prices. 

Of course, favorites like engawa sakura butera (pressed sushi with torched engawa and ponzu jelly on layered sakura-flavored rice and plum-flavored rice, B250) and salmon lava roll (B160) still remain.

Sushi sets start at B125, while there are also rice bowls (try salmon ikura don, B180), salad (from B120) and grilled fish (from B320). The restaurant also carries a list of sake and umeshu (from B200).
