The buzz: Leave any expectations of EDM, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj at the door; this uber-cool cement loft house on Thonglor Soi 10 plays only the best live underground techno beats. Soak up the grungy vibes under neon lights and thick fog.   

The decor: A neon sign reading "Fuck the mainstream" sets the tone as it welcomes bar-goers. Raw industrial design and flashing lights give the bar a wild, fun intensity, while the spacious dancefloor and pumping tunes are impossible to resist.

The drinks: Seasoned pro bartender Ronnanchai "Tony" Janthana shakes up colorful and seriously strong drinks. Kick-start the night with the aptly-named signature cocktail Deathful Kiss From Death (B300), a killer tequila, lemon and rose syrup concoction, or the Gold Mine Digger that mixes Teachers whiskey, peach schnapps, lime juice and Monin lemon tea syrup with a dash of absinthe for extra potency (B320). If you’ve got your game face on, go straight for the shooters: the absinthe-based Make It On Fire (B260), Jelly Fish (B250), or Suicide Bomber (B250) are sure to get the party started.

The music: A fierce dedication to the underground music scene means the L-Acoustics speakers blast all kinds of beats, from techno and trance to funk—as long as trashy chart-toppers aren’t on the playlist.

The crowd: Its Thonglor location makes a stream of brand-wearing, EDM-loving partygoers inevitable, but mainly this is a hub for niche underground regulars.
