Jing Jok Bar
Arguably Thonglor’s most under-the-radar hidey-hole.
Since J. Boroski Mixology is not so secret anymore, this tiny bar is arguably Thonglor’s most under-the-radar hidey-hole. The name, Jing Jok, translates to gecko, which the Japanese believe brings charm, happiness and safety.
The decor hardly screams Thonglor: brick walls, a long white bar and a few stools. Here, as if the cocktails aren’t potent enough, you can opt for the all-you can-drink promotion (women B400/hour, men B600/hour) covering whiskey (including Black Label, Chivas Regal, Jameson), beers (Singha, Heineken), wine, shots and assorted cocktails.
While you drink, you can indulge in some billiards, darts and karaoke (not to mention in-house drinking games). They are currently in soft opening, but will have new promotions for the official opening in June, including Tuesday ladies’ night and come-four-pay-three every Saturday. Be warned: The owner may ply you with shots.
