Tucked inside the meat-centric restaurant Wild & Co, in the place that was once music and booze institution Stu-fe, Black Cabin Bar is Bangkok’s latest hidden bar.

The bar looks to rekindle the live music spirit of its predecessor, all amid a moodily lit cabin vibe of dark red lighting and faux animals. Here, the partner-owners from Loy Shy music bar in Ratchathewi promise live bands covering genres as diverse as  jazz, soul, blues and electro, along with vinyl-heavy DJ sets.  

Drinks include a selection of single malts, Thai craft beers like Chalawan, Mahanankhon and Lumzing (all B220)  as well as refreshing signature cocktails, such as the Pink Chandelier (Jameson, creme de cassis, syrup, lime juice, mint leaves and sparkling wine, B380) and White Lies (Mekhong, Aperol, pineapple juice, syrup, lemon juice and egg white, B280). (Do be warned, everyone is expected to down a shot if someone rings the golden bell by the bar.)
