The Jim Thompson Art Center together with the Jim Thompson Farm is organizing creative workshops exploring the art of silk production. Weaving in the Green Workshop will take place at The Jim Thompson Farm (Pak Thong Chai District, Nakorn Ratchasima) one weekend (Sat-Sun) each month from June through November. The two-day workshops will demonstrate and let you participate in the processes of silk weaving using a wooden loom and dying silk yarn using natural dye made on the farm. The schedule for workshops is: Jun 29-30, Jul 27-28, Aug 31-Sep 1, Sep 28-29, Nov 2-3 and Nov 30-Dec 1. The admission fee is B5,500 per person for the two-day workshop, materials, meals, accommodation and transportation.
