Dear Mr. KIA,

Dear BREAM,
Well, obviously, the safest thing to do is to leave the car at home whenever you know for sure that you’ll be drinking. If you really must drive, then why not have a breathalyzer handy? The Automobile Association Shop (#02-11 Leisure Park Kallang, 5 Stadium Walk, 6333-8811) has a range (from $40-238 with discounts for AA members) of lightweight models that you can keep handy in your glove compartment. Alternatively, you could get someone to drive your car home. Drive U Home (9658-4033, www.driveuhome.com.sg) operates daily until 3am (5am on Fri, Sat and eves of public holidays) and will send a driver to wherever you are to get you and your car home safely from $38. If you’ve got friends to drop off along the way, then it’ll cost $10-20 more. Save travels and drink responsibly.
