Wandering around the Crystal Design Center’s newest extension, the vintage-style facade of Vanilla Vintage is bound to lure you in. Inside, you’ll find an emporium dedicated to the hottest (or should we say coolest) cloth of the season, linen. Founder Kharekhai Boonkantinat and her partners opened Vanilla Vintage, their first boutique, a few months ago, and as you might expect, everything is decked out in warm ivory tones and a kind of European country home atmosphere. The highlights are the shirts and dresses (B3,620-4,570), tablecloths (B3,400-4,250), bags (B870-2,130), pillow cases (B1,395) and towels (B195-4,500) made from the finest linen imported from Lithuania. Towels made from Japanese linen are a bit cheaper, ranging from B340-1,680 and there are also handmade jewelry and home decoration items available.
