The first flagship store from Bangkok’s new-on-the-scene handbag designer, Phya, has opened at Gaysorn, where you can shop for the handstitched Italian leather creations of investment banker-turned-fashion-designer Jirayong Anuman-Rajadhon.

The crocodile skin Diana lets the beauty of its leather do the talking in a powerfully eye-catching shade of burgundy complemented by a gunmetal chrome-plated chain. It’ll also set you back B125,000.

More affordable are Phya’s quilted lambs’ leather totes and cross-body bags like the Natalie (B24,000), which features a chic black diamond stitched pattern and rich red suede interior.
