The Buzz: Skate fashion outlet NYLA is building up branches among the leading shopping centers, and recently opened its latest to coincide with CentralWorld’s return. The highlight has to be the mini-ramp for skaters to go for a test-ride or simply show off on their boards.

The Vibe: The flashing lights on the entrance just scream, “Broadway!” Inside, black and white wood-block walls continue the New York theme, and the colorful graffiti and the shiny cement floor add to the underground street vibe.

The Goods: Skate products by leading brands like Globe or Emerica, and everything from skate decks, to clothing to accessories like chains and headphones. A Rad Design skate deck will set you back B2,000, but you’ll need to add wheels so count B3,000-5,000 total.
