Buzz: Labrador, a maker of eco-friendly stationery with genuine leather, has just opened the doors to a new shop at Central Silom Complex.
Décor: Warm and woody. Think wooden walls, floors, shelves and tables used to display goods. The shop isn’t huge but is probably the brand’s biggest yet (about twice the size of the one at Terminal 21). We do like the cozy atmosphere and the oversized paper lanterns that adorn the ceiling.
Goods: Notebooks, sketchbooks, carry cases, card holders and laptop cases featuring touches of leather, as well as smaller accessories like pens and key chains. The designs are quite understated with emphasis placed on natural tones like black, brown, grey and wood. Notebooks start from B590, carry cases from B1,290 and accessories from B89.
Why you’ll be back: Although the staff may seem half asleep, the shop is Labrador’s biggest and carries all the brand’s new products faster than elsewhere. Nutthachai Bunluthangthum
