BANGKOK VENUE

Namm Spa

A calm oasis in the heart of bustling Samyan.

The buzz: Brought to you by Dusit International—operator of Devarana Spa, one of Bangkok's most luxurious spas—this hip and minimal pampering spot located at Samyan Mitrtown offers wellness-oriented treatments, from calming body therapies to sumptuous massages, alongside relaxing mani-pedi sessions to give your nails some TLC.

The decor: The sleek, modern interior is a tasteful blend of blond-wood, shades of light maple and weathered stone, with hints of greenery from indoor plants. Meanwhile, rattan fixtures combined with dimmed lights and subtle splashes of turquoise evoke an air of quiet luxury. Walking deeper into the spa feels like a secret sanctuary—there are eight private treatment rooms, plus a spacious in-house nail bar for mani-pedi touch-ups. Bonus points to the soothing sounds of soft classical music, which will slowly but surely put you into zen mode.

The treatments: For facial treatments (B2,200 for the “Nourishing and Soothing Facial), they’ll break out the luscious French skincare brand Algotherm, renowned for its rich marine ingredients. For those of us with office syndrome, the 90-minute “Office Syndrome Relief Massage” (B2,200) will help melt away tension from the head, face, neck, shoulders and upper back. But for those who crave for the ultimate relaxation, we say opt for the 90-minute, full body “Namm Spa Signature Massage” (B2,400), where you’ll be treated to not one, but three massage techniques—Thai, Lomi Lomi (a traditional Hawaiian massage that claims to help heal the body, soul and mind) and Abhyanga (an ancient Ayurvedic medicine warm oil massage). During the session, the skillful therapist will knead all your knots and tension away from head-to-toe—you’ll be sure to leave the spa feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, happier and lighter. It’s a real stress-buster.
