BANGKOK VENUE

Feiyue

Buzz: The shoe of the masses in 1960s China, Feiyue (flying foward) made a comeback in 2006. It’s finally arrived here with the recent opening of its first Thailand store in Central Plaza Grand Rama 9, followed closely by another in Terminal 21.

Vibe: Minimal. The shop is small like a pop-up store, with wooden walls and white floor. Shoes are displayed on tables and a tiny corner is home to Feiyue printed t-shirts.

Goods: The shop stocks Feiyue sneakers starting from B1,590, plain Feiyue print t-shirts from B1,790 and Feiyue headphone and shoe collection, a collaboration with French headphone maker IN2, for B4,990. New sneakers get updated here faster than at other branches, like the FY Cassis (B1,590), and although space is limited, they do stock old classics like the FY M-Felo (B1,890).

Why you’ll be back: It stocks the most Feiyue models under one roof, with an emphasis on new collections, in all colors. Nutthachai Bunluthangthum
