Lad Phrao gains a hip container gallery.
Housed in a lofted container above a coffee shop, this hip gallery and creative space is within a minute's walk of MRT Lat Phrao. Its two showrooms host parallel, conceptual shows throughout the year, with the main room dedicated to established Bangkok-based artists and the smaller gallery reserved for new media artists with ambient designs. Previous exhibitions include Bangkok-based American artist Elissa Ecker's "Synthetic Seduction," a combination paintings, videos and installations exploring the relation between luxury and kitsch in homemaking, and an exhibition of works by fast-rising Thai artist Attasit Pokpong, whose Pop Art-inspired portraits have been exhibited around the world (on display through Jun 28, 2020).
