The concept: After quitting his business in France, gallery owner Eric Monteil took a motorcycle trip all over Asia with his camera, photographing the fine arts of the region. Rock Around Asia, inspired from this life-changing trip, is an art gallery and museum that exhibits Asian arts as well as work by independent artists.

The décor: The exhibition space is a large white room with a large spiral staircase in the middle. This three-story house has a welcoming terrace with wooden tables lit by the colorful paper hanging lamps. This terrace space will be a bistro where you can enjoy French tapas with wine and have a chat after visiting the gallery.

The crowd: Thai and foreign collectors.

At present: The first floor room contains Monteil’s personal collection including wooden crafts, paintings and sculpture, all available for sale. The second floor room shows his personal photo diary taken during the motorcycle trip. The third floor is a studio room for erotic art—hot!
