The concept: Maya Secret Gallery is a newborn art studio that focuses on floral and natural themes, especially paintings and photographs. The owner, Mayurachat Eckert had a personal interest in paintings and photography and went into collaboration with Thitikorn Boonyakiat to convert this little space into a gallery. Both owners are also artists themselves, producing work in a contemporary realist style.

The décor: Baan Silom, where the gallery is located, has a large outdoor area filled with garden accessories, conveniently matching the gallery’s concept. The theme continues with small plants by the entrance, a main hall with wooden floors and walls, and warm spotlights on the large paintings currently on view.

The crowd: As the place is still new, the crowd is largely the owners’ friends and office workers from the neighborhood.
At present: Large scale floral paintings by the owners.

In the future: Art will rotate every three months, sticking to the concept of floral and natural paintings. So far, the work is by the owners, but work by other artists is slated for next year.
