With the renovation of the new Siam Discovery comes a brand new contemporary art gallery, Galerie Adler Bangkok. Set on the ground floor of the mall, the space is designed to pay homage to the style of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian and his signature pattern of intertwining white and colored grids which spread across the floor and walls of the gallery. The art itself is displayed across a series of rooms connected by tunnels in a minimalistic style.

 

In collaboration with its sister branch in Paris, the gallery works with a mission to exhibit paintings, sculptures and photography from both local and international artists. The space selects highlight pieces from artists, rather than entire series, and presents them all in the same space to create a dynamic and engaging gallery filled with a variety of art. Currently on display are the caricatural oil paintings of Jarasporn Chumsri, the bronze terracotta sculptures of Liu Bolin, the acrylic works of Yin Kun, the fine art photography of Eli Rezkallah and more.
