Hot on the heels of Whitespace Gallery’s move, another new gallery has just popped up on Sala Daeng Soi 1. Art In Effect Galleries is owned by an artist who was previously based in Myanmar, so fittingly its first exhibition is a collection of paintings by six Myanmar-based artists, including Tun T Lin, Khine Min So and Maung Myant, that depict the living conditions under the military-ruled government. Deconstructing Burma will open Sep 20 with an opening reception starting 6pm.
