Adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name by John Green, The Fault in Our Stars is one of the most anticipated films of 2014, following the book’s overwhelmingly positive critical reception since its publication in 2012. The film, subtitled “One Sick Love Story,” tells of a brief yet meaningful relationship between two young star-crossed lovers, who are unfortunately diagnosed with cancer.

When the chips are down: Former members of Potato on reuniting as R9

After releasing their first single “Ter Kue Rak” as a soundtrack for the sitcom Joot Nat Pob last month, rock band R9 has attracted over 400,000 views on YouTube. However, it’s not due to their newness so much as the long-awaited return of three of the former members of the still-active rock band Potato— Suwatin “Bom” Wattanavitukul, 36, Ratanapol “Win” Kengrien, 30, and Nantrakrai “Note” Chamjaiharn, 33. They’re joined by Narissarin “Fai” Janpraisri, 29. The band talks to BK about their reunion after nine years apart (hence R9).

Pook Pin To Kao: Improving Thai society through organic rice
