It's official: Scottish synth-pop band Chvrches is coming to Bangkok

After much speculation from fans when Tiger Jams and Fungjai released a blurred out poster for their upcoming Center Stage event, the headliner has now been confirmed.

As the unblurred poster now reveals, the band is joining the concert set to take place on Sep 3 at BITEC Bangna Hall (88 Bang Na-Trat Rd.), with tickets on sale now here with earlybird tickets at B700, regular admission at B1,000 and B1,500 on the door.

The Scottish synth-pop band will be making their Bangkok debut alongside local indie rockers Polycat, Jelly Rocket and Somkiat, up and coming bands Monkey Business, Mirrr and 23'0 and visual artists DJs Dudesweet, Eyedropper Fill and Tuna Dunn.

Known for hit songs like "The Mother We Share" and "Leave a Trace," the band was meant to make an appearance back in 2014 before they cancelled unexpectedly. Here's hoping that nothing goes wrong this time around.

This year, Bangkok is seeing one of its best ever for international concerts, with Pentatonix, Two Door Cinema Club, Of Montreal, Queen and Adam Lambert, Simple Plan and many more lined up for the rest of the year.

Until September, here's a dose of Chvrches.
