Next time you're headed to the boonies for a quick weekend-getaway, check out Khum Damnoen in sleepy Ratchaburi.

Set amid tropical green fields and orchards, this new resort offers cottage-style teakwood villas with thatched roofs—a step away from the usual traditional Thai house stays you'll find dotted around the area.
