Starting from the second half of 2013, premium globetrotters will be introduced to Singapore Airlines’ new first and business class experiences. The airline announced its intention to renovate their first and business class interiors to stay ahead of its competitors, mainly Etihad and Emirates. To do so, Singapore Airlines has hired DesignworksUSA, a creative consultancy under the BMW Group to oversee its new first class cabin. The newly renovated interior will include increased privacy, more comfort and storage room. Another firm, James Park Associates, has also been brought in to revamp the new business class section. As for the economy class, the airline promises improved seat and headset comfort. The upgrade is scheduled to start upon the arrival of the new Boeing 777-300ERs, in the second half of next year.
