Star of Black Books and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, British comic Bill Bailey is coming to perform a standup show in Bangkok.

Bailey will draw on more than 20 years as a traveling comedian as part of a two-hour set at The Westin Grande Sukhumvit on Apr 5

Tickets for the show as part of the Magners International Comedy Festival are available on bit.ly/2FCnlRP priced at B1,000-3,200.

The wispy-haired comic is known for his routines where the jokes jump from topical to political to observational, combining razor-sharp critiques of society and musical comedy that often veers into the absurd. His long career has included high-profile stints on the '00s sitcom Black Books, as well as panel shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks and QI.

Bailey will follow up his Bangkok performance with further shows in Pattaya (Apr 7) and Phuket (Apr 9).

Bangkok's comedy lovers are currently spoiled for international visitors, with confrontational US stand-up Doug Stanhope taking the stage this Sat, Mar 17. Limited tickets are still available here.
