Luxury publishing house Assouline has arrived in Bangkok to launch their new publication with Thai fine jewelry house Lotus Arts de Vivre.

Called Unexpected Creations (B7,400), the formidable tome charts the history of the company from its inception in the 1980s, delving into the photographic archives of its founders and present-day owners, the von Bueren family, to present a riveting visual portrayal of not just the brand’s one-of-a-kind pieces, but also life in Bangkok high society spanning over 30 years.

Find it at the Assouline pop-up shop at the back of Anantara Siam hotel’s Aqua courtyard, where it sits alongside other giant Assouline collector editions like Oscar De La Renta (B4,940), the story of Hollywood’s favorite gown designer, and Private: Giancarlo Giammetti (B9,870), which lifts the lid on the lavish lifestyle of Valentino’s founder.

For something more affordable, check out Assouline’s cult In the Spirt Of travel series (starting B1,980), which delve into the unique creative lifestyles of sunny, “gypsetting” destinations from Bali to St. Barts.
