The five-star hotel with incredible views of Royal Bangkok Sport Club has long been one of the city's most decadent brunch destinations. But there's good news for those willing to splash a little more on a Sunday of sublime gluttony.

Taking place every last Sunday of the month, St. Regis's Monthly Mega Brunch is spread across four F&B venues on the hotel's 12th floor.

It'll cost you a cool B5,500++ per person, but that includes free-flow Moet & Chandon Grand Vintage Champagne, Cape Mentelle and Terrazas Reserva wines, plus cocktails from The St. Regis Bar (whose drink list recently had a total overhaul).

Viu serves as the main dining area. Ask for one of the tables with a view and go to town on the foie gras, Fine de Claire oysters, caviar, house-cured gravlax and carved meats. From the half-dozen cooking stations, we highly recommend the lobster eggs Benedict, but you can also order pretty much any comfort dish under the sun.

Elsewhere, the plush gentlemen's lounge Decanter turns into a cheese room for the day diplaying more than 15 imported cheeses, while tearoom The Drawing Room welcomes a towering dessert display.

The next event is on Jun 26, 12.30-4pm. (Note that after brunch ends, you can stick around for two-for-one on all beverages at The St. Regis Bar.)
