If you haven't been to The Great Escape yet, this is a great time to check out the hidden watering hole. The tucked-away bar in the Golden Mile Tower parking lot behind The Projector is one of our top 10 bars in Singapore of all time. We've had impromptu dances there, we've taken Tinder dates there and we've had serious, feminist discussions after night screenings of Carol there. And soon, we will have a lovely, outdoor brunch there.

Famed for communal dining exploits last year (including an Ethiopian brunch at Spiffy Dapper and an outdoor barbecue in Kranji), Brunch Bandits are back for their first event of the year, in collaboration with The Projector. A Novel Brunch is happening on Feb 21, starting at 1pm, and will feature cocktails and dishes inspired by iconic novels. Don't know what that means? Neither do we. But who could say no to a boozy welcome drink inspired by Rushdie's Midnight's Children and another inspired by Proust's In Search of Lost Time.

Tickets are $76.50 on Peatix. There's a package for $86.50 that includes a ticket to a movie of your choice on any day at The Projector.
