Score: 100/100

What James said:
“A young Brunello with precision and complexity showing violets, blackberries, bramble berries, tea leaf and minerals. Stone undertones, too. Full body, a compressed palate and firm and velvety tannins. Powerful and long. Truly fantastic. Breathtaking. Better in 2018."

What James said:
“Aromas of blackberries, burnt oranges, licorice and spices follow through to a full body, super-integrated and fine tannins plus a fabulous depth of fruit and an impressive center palate. This is a great wine. Drink in 2017.”

Duemani Cabernet Franc Costa Della Toscana 2013

Place in Top 100 Italian Wines of 2016: No. 7
Score: 98/100

What James said:
“This is a phenomenal cabernet franc. The depth and intensity are so spectacular with fantastic richness and power. It is full-bodied but finishes with energy and greatness. Lively acidity. 20 months in new wood and almost 10 months in cement. Exceptional 2013. One of the wines of the vintage. Biodynamically grown grapes. Greatest wine ever from here and the best cabernet franc ever from Italy. Better in 2019.”
