The aptly named Café Bicycle (Mahatun Plaza, 888/5-6 Ploenchit Rd., Bangkok, 02-651-5188. BTS Ploenchit. www.cafebicycle.com) provides yet another spot to park your bike and enjoy a fine brew. With its high ceiling and wooden furnishings, the spacious two-floor venue has a distinctly Japanese vibe so even if you’re not a big bike fan, you can stop by for some healthy bites like the recommended Ahi Ahi salad (mixed greens with seared tuna and edamame and topped with miso sesame dressing, B180) or a reuben sandwich (corned beef and cheese, B190) along with coffee (starting from B55). There’s also free Wi-Fi and the owners plan to start selling bike accessories soon.
