This Friday, Jan 5, Fuchsia nightclub will welcome Ben Klock, a household name in the techno scene who has been a resident at the notoriously exclusive Berghain nightclub since 2005.

Starting the new year with a bang, Ben Klock will be the latest addition to hype up the dance floor at Fuschia with his distinguished marathon techno sets. The DJ slash producer is recognized for his ability to blend tracks and adapt to the room’s vibe, taking his talents to intimate clubs and major music festivals around the world including Awakenings, Time Warp, and Tomorrowland.

Klock’s production skills were best captured in the 2009 album One, and his remixing work boasts a collaboration with a slew of artists such as Kerri Chandler, Depeche Mode, and Kenny Larkin. In 2015, Klock made it to the BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix of the Year award and has been focusing on touring the globe ever since.

The Watermelon Group—behind leading Bangkok nightlife spots like Rabbit Hole, Crimson Room, Bar Marco, and Canvas—opened up Fuschia in September last year and added touches of retro futurism and pole dancing to their repertoire. Centering on house and techno music, the club has previously worked with local and international DJs like Notep, Mendy Indigo, Marmosets, David Chong, and others.

Doors open at 8pm, and tickets can be found here.
