Who’s in: Tonight, the gang is in the mood for a bit of sophisitication and old-world charm. How about dinner and drinks?
The solution: Set in a 100-year-old house painted bright pink, Namsaah just oozes nostalgia and charm jazzed up by a playful pop edge in the decor’s kitschy palette. The menu here was created by one of Thailand’s most globally recognized chefs, Ian Kittichai, and adds twists to Asian comfort food—with drinks specially designed to match. The creative appetizers include salmon tartare wonton tacos, while one highly recommended main is the Drunken Lobster, which comprises Canadian lobster on top of Thai-style stir-fried noodles with green pepper corn, hot basil, chili and garlic.
Drink this: They have some of the best cocktails in town. Amid the handsome bistro decor, it serves up a range of international comfort food, from pizza and pasta to cheese platters, to accompany the floor-to-ceiling selection of wines from all around the world.
