THE SOUND OF MEMORIES

A new stage production by Shogo Tanikawa in celebration of Mother's Day. The play follows a boy who falls asleep while looking after his sick mother, and wakes up to find himself transported to the past when his parents were still young adults. In this light-hearted comedy performance, The Star’s Kaengsom plays a charming architect who’s about to marry a Thai girl educated abroad, played by Pleng Asawahem (Tuk Gae Ruk Paeng Mak). ROY DURIYANG THE MUSICAL

Set in the era of kings Rama 7 and 8, the musical follows the story of Mike, a modern day Thai fan of K-pop, who gets teleported back to when Western influence first started to infiltrate the city, and traditional Thai music came under threat. Inspired by the 19 Thai artists who performed traditional music in the presence of Queen Victoria for the first time.
