After five months of renovations, Siam Center throws open its doors this Friday (Jan 11) with a brand new theme, “Ideaopolis," in celebration of its 40th anniversary. The mall aims to offer a space of inspiration for art and design befitting its place at the fashion vanguard. The four floors will be filled with 200 brands, the highlight being the "Fashion Visionary" on the third, home to the flagship stores of Thai designers like Something Boudoir, Theatre and Kloset. To celebrate the grand re-opening, the mall will curate an exhibition showcasing the works of Andy Warhol, Comme des Garcons and Yohji Yamamoto, alongside local designers.
