Almost 100 mixed media works of art by Ithipol Thangchalok. The show spans back to his first solo exhibition in 1991, displayed alongside his most recent, unseen work.

Bangkok-based American artist Gary Gagliano exhibits 20 paintings for his first solo exhibition in Bangkok. The artist is well-known in New York's art and fashion circles for his largescale abstract enamel paintings.

The first solo exhibition by Jeep Kogdechakul, founder of The Factory Studio and ArtHouse and illustrator for Cheeze magazine, showcases a series of acrylic and colored-pencil illustrations. Her artwork draws inspiration from fashion and travel, presented like a diary.

Curated by postgraduate students in Art Theory, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, the exhibition shows two artists' experimentation with visuals, vocabulary and installations. Special art forum on "Experimental Art in Thai Contemporary Art Scene' at 4pm on Aug 14.

CHANGE IS...

This week's public art exhibition at the old Rex Hotel features the work of Terawat “O” Teankaprasith, one of Thailand's most famous illustrators. He will transform his work into animations to tell the story of the project from its beginning up until its final transformation by SC ASSET. Live illustration at the space on Aug 14.

This pop-up exhibition displays the tropical and colorful oil paintings of Chilean painter Pablo Lincura, which capture recognizable symbols of Thai pop culture.
