Following the 1993 Hokkaido tsunami, nine-year-old Hana is taken in by one of her relatives, Junko. Deeply shaken by her traumatic experience, Hana swears never to leave Junko’s side. Years later, however, Hana gets married and goes on a honeymoon, only to discover on her return that Junko is missing.
