Just when we thought we had our September sorted for international mega-concerts, with Maroon 5 (for the lucky ones) and Muse, came the announcement from Singha and Live Nation BEC-Tero that Bon Jovi will perform at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani this Sep 15. Yes, that's next Tuesday.

The New Jersey group had been due to perform their first Chinese shows next week before authorities pulled the plug, reportedly due to the band's previous use of a Dalai Lama image at a concert in Taiwan. But it seems China's loss is our gain.

Tickets for Singha Corporation Presents Bon Jovi Live in Bangkok are B2,000-6,000 and will go on sale this Saturday, Sep 12 on Thaiticketmajor.com

One of America's biggest rock acts of all time with over 130 million records sold worldwide, Bon Jovi last performed in Bangkok way back in 1995. The concert promises to take fans through hits like "Livin' On a Prayer," "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "It's My Life."

In the meantime, here's "It's My Life"  to bring back some nostalgia.
