Good news for fans of TCDC's Chiang Mai Design Week, with Bangkok set to get a similar week-long showcase of all things design-related. 

According to a newly launched official Facebook page, Bangkok Design Week will debut on Jan 27-Feb 4, 2018, promising art installations, workshops, seminars and more. 

Organizers have put out an open call for designers, craftspeople, students, creative entrepreneurs and businesses from all over Thailand to showcase their new projects and innovations in design.

Under the theme of "New-ist Vibes," the event promises a glimpse into the future with a look into how design assists with our daily lives. The exact locations have not been announced, but you can probably bet a lot of the activities will take place around the TCDC's new home along Charoenkrung Road.
