Training Ground

Equipped with back-to-basics equipment such as Olympiclifting platforms, pull-up bars, bumper plates and Concept-2 rowers inside a 1,200-sq-meter warehouse, this training facility houses East West Crossfit, Asia’s biggest Crossfit affiliate. Apart from Crossfit classes, the gym also offers other services for individuals of all levels, such as personal training, boot camp sessions and yoga classes in its upstairs yoga studio. Because of its large space, the venue has proudly hosted local and international fitness competitions ranging from the

Sakolpan Sport Club

Tucked inside a leafy area, this sports club is home to tennis, basketball, badminton courts and a swimming pool. Although most of its members come to recreationally break a sweat, you’ll also spot quite a few competitive athletes of all divisions, ranging from junior to senior, doing their drills with coaches on the clubhouse grounds. There is also a spa offering different types of massages and facials, perfect for a relaxing post-workout treat.

The Fight Lab

This martial arts gym has just recently reloca ted from its Soi 36 location onto the Training Ground premises. The place itself isn’t your dingy underground fight club. It’s clean, it’s vast and it manages to feel welcoming to newbies, while having plenty of competitive cred for the aspiring champs out there. They offer training in muay Thai, boxing, mixed martial arts (MMA) and Brazilian jiujitsu (submission grappling).

71 Sports Club

This family-friendly fitness center houses a 25-meter lap pool and six badminton courts. There are also swim and badminton instructors who specialize in teaching children and adults. The facility itself is clean, with lots of open-air space and comfortable locker rooms. From time to time, it hosts friendly but competitive badminton tournaments for club members. Additionally, the club is also home to the poolside Aom Yoga Studio, offering scheduled yoga classes and workshops for all levels, taught by experienced instructors who have been inspired by various spiritual traditions.
