The second location of the Vintage Car Market (the original is at The Walk Kaset-Nawamin on Tue and Thu nights) is situated at Baan Silom community mall near Silom Soi 19.

In operation for about a month now, and held every Wednesday and Friday from around noon to midnight, the down-to-earth market sees a small number of old-fashioned cars park around Baan Silom's driveway and sell stuff from their car boots.

The products are mainly vintage or homemade, from necklaces and vintage-style earrings to shoes, dresses to denim.

You'll also find a range of classic Thai food and desserts served from cute little stalls. Must-try dishes include rice with chili dip and condiments, crispy fried fishballs dip with sweet chilli sauce, Thai sausages (sai oua), and fried squid eggs (if you are brave enough to give it a go!).

There's also a food truck, Hip Hot Dog, that does hot dogs and burgers, a Thai-style soda stall and other rotating pop-up shops.

Not satisfied? Nearby restaurants include classic Thai place Taling Pling661 Silom, new Turkish joint Ottoman, and Lebanese favorite Nadimos

Every Wed and Fri, noon-midnight, Baan Silom, 659 Silom Soi 19. BTS Silom/Chong Nonsi.
