New brews up north.

Lad Phrao's Where Do We Go (bit.ly/2KpvLz3) has now expanded to the laidback northern town of Lampang.

This taproom spotlighting mostly local craft beers occupies a compact shop-house that’s been given a black lick of paint. Live bands set a laid-back atmosphere. On tap, try a Thai-by-way-of-Australia tipple like Happy New Beer Pilsner (B180/glass) or a rotating list of imports including the American Melvin Double IPA 10% (B280/glass).

Leave room for small bites with Isaan-inspired touches, such as fried chicken that’s been marinated in fish sauce and grilled beef salad.
