Singapore is getting a crazy bungy tower
So you can fulfill your Mission Impossible fantasies.
Think Singapore's a little on the dull side? Think again. According to sister magazine SG, the island will welcome its first bungy tower, the AJ Hackett Sentosa, at Siloso Beach, by the end of 2016.
The structure has several exciting components. First is the 47-meter high Double Bungy jump decks, which is ample altitude to try some various jump styles. If it's baby steps you're after, you can grab a couple of friends and race another group to the bottom on the Duo Giant Swings from a height of 40 meters and at a speed of over 100km/h.
The facility will also have a full-time commercial Vertical Skywalk, an obstacle familiar to those in the military (as well as die-hard fans of Mission Impossible). Fulfill your fantasies by walking vertically down the center shaft of the tower from a height of 44 meters.
And if all that sounds a bit hard on your nerves, you can watch your friends have all the fun while you take in a panoramic view of Siloso beach from the Skybridge which is 40 meters long and 50 meters above ground.
The official opening date is yet to be announced but you can sign up on their website to get all the updates. More here.
