Following the takeover by InterContinental Group, the former Sheraton Pattaya has been rebranded the InterContinental (pattaya.intercontinental.com) and now offers charter boat services in collaboration with Ocean Marina, the main yacht marina in Pattaya.

 

Destinations include anywhere off Chonburi’s shore but we recommend Koh Phai, a hidden paradise that’s under Thai navy jurisdiction and is less-touristy than nearby Koh Lan. A yacht trip with snorkeling and picnic lunch starts at B60,000 for 10-12 people, while a speedboat version starts at B8,000.

 

Meanwhile, room rates start from B5,586 for a garden view and B6,076 for an ocean view. The hotel will unveil a new club room type and lounge at the end of this month.
